Overview

Allison Currey Bell joined the firm as an associate in 2017. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, probate, estate litigation, and elder law. Prior to joining the firm, she served as staff attorney to the Honorable Judge David Holton, II while he presided over the Jefferson County Probate Court. In addition to her estate planning and probate experience, she previously practiced civil defense with a regional law firm and worked with corporate counsel at one of Louisville’s Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Bell is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. Ms. Bell obtained her Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in Louisville, KY.

Ms. Bell was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in October 2010. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Louisville Bar Association. As a volunteer with the Legal Aid Society of Louisville, Ms. Bell worked in the Louisville Law Clinic representing indigent individuals in Divorce and Domestic Violence actions.

Ms. Bell works in the Goldberg Simpson Trusts and Estates practice group where she focuses on estate planning, estate administration, probate, estate litigation, and elder law.

Collectively, this area is experienced in all aspects of estate and trust administration, including post mortem tax planning, fiduciary income tax matters, and probate court representation and estate-related litigation. Further, we provide counsel in business planning, including family succession strategies, buy/sell agreements and deferred and structured compensation arrangements. Specific areas of wealth protection include Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, and Non-Trust Planning Alternatives. Learn more
