Aida Almasalkhi is an Associate with Goldberg Simpson. Her practice primarily includes tort litigation and defense, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, and general civil litigation.
Aida is from Louisville, but she received her B.A. from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Thereafter, Aida earned her J.D. and graduated with a Certificate of Distinction in Litigation Skills from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
While in law school, Aida served as a summer intern for the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Louisiana for the Honorable Ivan Lemelle, the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Kentucky. She was also selected to serve as a member of the University of Louisville Law Review, a Pupil Member of the Brandeis Inn of Court, and a Brandeis Diversity Ambassador. She was on the winning team of the Kentucky Trial Tournament in 2014, received the Edward M. Post Award for excellence in litigation skills, and was awarded the Kentucky Judges Association Scholarship in recognition of her demonstrated skill in trial advocacy.
Ms. Almasalkhi was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in September of 2016.
