Megan Keane is an associate with the law firm Goldberg Simpson. Her practice primarily includes foreclosures, bankruptcy, real estate matters and business and commercial litigation.
As a Louisville native, Megan received both her B.S. in Political Science from the University of Louisville in 2007 and her J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2011. Megan also attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law’s summer abroad program, which held law classes in Ireland and Wales. Megan was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2011 and admitted to practice in Indiana in 2012. Megan is also licensed to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the Southern District of Indiana.
While in law school Megan received her limited license to practice law and worked in the Louisville Law Clinic representing low income individuals in Divorce, Domestic Violence and Forcible Detainer actions. Megan also served as a summer Intern for the Kentucky Court of Appeals for the Honorable Thomas B. Wine. She was selected to serve as a member on the law school’s Honor Council and the Student Bar Association. During law school Megan was also selected to be a Pupil Member of the Brandeis Inns of Court, an organization dedicated to promoting professionalism and civility in the legal profession. Megan currently serves as a member of the Citizen Foster Care Review Board and has received training with the Kentucky Bar Association to serve as a Guardian ad Litem.
