GS welcomes two new lawyers to the firm

The law firm of Goldberg Simpson, LLC is pleased to announce Megan Cleveland and S. Carlos Wood have joined the firm as Associates.

Ms. Cleveland’s practice primarily focuses on Family law. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Law Clerk to the Franklin County Family Court Judge. She is a native of Versailles, Kentucky, and graduated from Transylvania University with a degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, Ms. Cleveland earned her law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in October 2012. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and Family Law Division. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Louisville.

Mr. Wood’s primary practice areas are insurance defense, general civil litigation, and criminal defense. He is a native of Warner Robins, Georgia, and graduated from Auburn University Montgomery in 2001 with a degree in English. He also graduated cum laude from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law and was admitted to the bar in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wood was a staff attorney at the office of the Louisville Metro Public Defender. Mr. Wood is a Barrister member of the Brandeis American Inn of Court, the Defense Research Institute, and the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
